Paul J. Ostling
Mr. Ostling is the Chief Executive Officer of Phoenix Neftegaz Services which manufactures drilling equipment in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
Mr. Ostling retired in 2007 from Ernst & Young Global Limited where he served as Chief Operating Officer and member of the board. From 2007 until 2009 he was Chief Executive Officer of Kungur Oilfield Equipment and Services which is a leading Russian manufacturer of Oilfield equipment. He currently serves on the Board of Kungur.
Currently, Mr. Ostling is Vice Chairman of the Board of the Business Council for International Understanding. He is also on the Board of Director for Mobile TeleSystems (RTS:MTSS MICESX:MTSI) – the largest mobile operator in the CIS and a part of Sistema Group – and chairs its Audit Committee. He is the Chairman of the Board of Rolf Group, the largest Automotive Retail, Distribution and Logistics company in the CIS. He is on the Boards of Promsvyazbank (a leading Russian commercial bank), and UralChem (one of the world’s largest fertilizer producers). He is also an advisor to Russia’s state-sponsored multi-billion dollar investment vehicle, Rusnano, and is Rusnano’s Bard Member for Investments in the oilfield equipment and high technology sectors.
He is Deputy Chairman and a member of the Board of cool nrg, an environmental services company which operates in Australia, UK and US. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Boy Scouts of America, Transatlantic Council.
Mr. Ostling is a graduate of Fordham University where he received a Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctorate. Additionally, he served in the United States Marine Corps.
